YouTube Edu è un vero e proprio contenitore di informazioni legato al mondo delle Università, accessibile su YouTube .

All’interno di YouTube Edu é possibile visualizzare i contenuti video caricati da centinaia di università in tutto il mondo. Da Stanford alla UCLA, sono presenti numerosi video che raccontano la vita del Campus, i corsi universitari e che riprendono importanti conferenze così come interventi degli studenti.

In Italia Università Bocconi e Politecnico di Milano sono i primi atenei ad aderire al progetto. Altre università che vogliono farne parte, possono inviare richiesta direttamente all’indirizzo email: youtube_edu_it@google.com

Corsi Universitari online Berkeley

http://webcast.berkeley.edu/images/home_title.gifWebcast Berkeley è il sito della Berkeley University che  trasmette dal vivo le lezioni di molti dei suoi interessantissimi corsi, che possono poi essere visti e ascoltati da chiunque in ogni momento via Webcast e Podcast con un semplice browser fornito di plug-in RealPlayer e accesso internet possibilmente veloce.

51 corsi sono disponibili per il semestre autunnale 2008, 18 in Webcast (streaming video) e i restanti in Podcast (MP3), per selezionare le lezioni dei semestri precedenti ( 2001-2009 ) utilizza il menu a tendina che trovi in alto a destra.

Le discipline spaziano dalla Biologia all’ Informatica, dall’ Elettrotecnica alla Matematica, vedi l’elenco completo qui.

Il progetto partito nel 2001 con soli 12 corsi e 84,000 visitatori unici, ha ora un traffico mensile di oltre 3 milioni visitatori, e 10 milioni di webcast/podcast visionati, ascoltati e/o scaricati.
